Description
An afternoon and evening trip from Da Nang to Hoi An — a UNESCO World Heritage Old Town where the streets have barely changed in 400 years. The route starts with a scenic drive with photo stops at rice fields and An Bang Beach, continues with a basket boat ride through Bay Mau coconut forest and an evening walk through the Old Town. The day ends with lanterns on the Hoai River and the An Hoi night market.
Program:
- 14:00 Hotel pick-up in Da Nang, scenic drive to Hoi An with photo stops at rice fields and An Bang Beach.
- Bay Mau Coconut Forest: round basket boat ride with a local boatman show on the water.
- Hoi An Old Town: the 16th-century Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Merchant House and Chinese assembly halls.
- 18:30 Dinner and free time (extra fee) — banh mi from Phuong or local Cao Lau soup.
- Hoai River: light a lantern and release it on the river.
- An Hoi Night Market: silk, handmade leather goods and lanterns.
- ~22:00 Return to Da Nang hotels.
