The price includes hotel pickup and drop-off in Nha Trang, the round-trip on a sleeper bus with reclining beds, a Russian-speaking guide in Ho Chi Minh City, meals as per the programme (breakfast and lunch), all entrance tickets, medical insurance, and the Mekong Delta boat trip. You only pay extra for drinks beyond what is included, tips, and personal expenses.
The standard pickup from Nha Trang hotels is already included. If you're staying in Cam Ranh, the transfer to Nha Trang is charged separately. You also cover drinks beyond breakfast and lunch, dinner, tips for the guide and driver, personal expenses, and anything you buy in cafés or markets during free time in Saigon.
Hotel pickup in Nha Trang takes place in the evening — you board a sleeper bus and travel overnight to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the morning. After a full active day in Saigon you take another overnight sleeper bus back to Nha Trang, arriving the following morning, and we then drop you off at your hotel. The manager confirms the exact pickup time after your booking is finalized.
The full trip lasts about 24 hours from hotel pickup in Nha Trang to drop-off. You spend one full day in Saigon (the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the Mekong Delta, a city sightseeing tour, and free time), while the Nha Trang–Saigon legs in both directions are overnight transfers on a sleeper bus that don't eat into your daytime.
Between Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City the group travels on a sleeper bus with reclining beds — that lets you sleep on the way and save a day. Inside Saigon itself, and for the trips to the Mekong Delta and the Ho Chi Minh Trail, transfers between sights are made on a separate accompanying vehicle.
In Ho Chi Minh City the group is led by a Russian-speaking guide and the programme runs in Russian. If your group only speaks English, please check with the manager at the time of booking whether an English-speaking guide can be arranged for your specific date.
In one day you travel a section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail — one of Vietnam's most iconic wartime routes, take a boat ride through the narrow canals of the Mekong Delta, and tour the centre of Ho Chi Minh City with its colonial architecture and major landmarks. At the end of the programme there's free time for cafés, markets, or an optional add-on tour. The order of the stops may vary depending on traffic and the day's logistics.
Breakfast and lunch are included — they're part of the programme and served at restaurants chosen by the guide. Dinner, drinks beyond what's included, and any snacks during free time are paid separately. If you have allergies or follow a vegetarian diet, let the manager know when booking so the restaurant can be prepared in advance.
The trip is suitable for school-age children, but tickets are based on height: the child fare applies to children 100–140 cm tall, kids under 100 cm travel free, and guests over 140 cm pay the adult fare. Keep in mind that the transfers take up two nights on a sleeper bus and the active day in Saigon is long — it may be tiring for very small children.
Be sure to bring a photocopy of your passport — the main page and the page with your Vietnam visa or entry stamp, as it may be checked en route. You'll also want water and soft drinks, sun protection (SPF 50+, sunglasses, a hat, a light long-sleeved shirt or sarong), comfortable shoes (sandals, flip-flops, crocs), a phone and camera, optional waterproof covers, and some cash for personal expenses and tips.
Yes, after the guided portion of the programme you get free time in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. It's usually enough for a relaxed lunch or coffee in a local café, a visit to a market (such as Ben Thanh), some souvenir shopping, or a walk through the colonial quarter. You can also join an optional add-on tour if you wish — the guide will explain the options on the spot.
