Cable car over Nha Trang Bay to Hon Tre Island — the gateway to VinWonders
The main route into VinWonders is a 3,320-meter cable car — one of the longest over-sea cable cars in the world. The 8-minute ride above the bay is included in the ticket.

The short version: VinWonders Nha Trang (formerly Vinpearl Land) is Vietnam’s largest theme park, set on Hòn Tre Island and reached by a cable car that runs right over the sea. In 2026, a standard ticket costs 1,050,000 VND for an adult and 800,000 VND for a child (100–140 cm tall) or a guest aged 60 and over, while children under 100 cm enter free. The round-trip cable car is already included in the price. The park is open daily from 08:30 to 20:00, and you should plan a full day for it: inside are five zones — a water park, an aquarium, a thrill-ride hill, a fairy-tale area with shows, and a botanical garden.

Below is everything in order: what the ticket covers, what’s inside each zone, what opened in 2026, how to get there and when to go. At the end, you’ll also find practical tips and answers to common questions.

Who should visit, and when

If you’d rather not read everything, here’s the cheat sheet:

  • Families with kids: the water park, aquarium, fairy-tale zone and gentler rides easily fill a whole day.
  • Thrill-seekers: Festive Hill, with roller coasters and the new 2026 rides.
  • For the views alone: the cable car over the bay is an experience in itself.
  • On a rainy or overcast day: several zones are indoors, so the park works even when the sea is rough.
  • On a budget: the after-4 pm ticket is cheaper, and you’ll still catch the evening shows and lights.

Now for the details.

What VinWonders Nha Trang actually is

VinWonders Nha Trang is a theme park on Hòn Tre Island in Nha Trang Bay. It used to be called Vinpearl Land, which is why many visitors still say «Vinpearl,» though the official name since 2020 has been VinWonders Nha Trang. It’s part of the Vingroup conglomerate and is today the biggest amusement park in the country.

The island sits about three kilometres offshore. As a result, the main way in is the famous cable car. It runs 3,320 metres, with most of the route directly over the water, making it one of the longest over-water cable cars in the world. The ride takes around 8 minutes, each cabin holds up to 12 people, and the views over the bay and the city are striking enough that some people come for the cable car alone.

Inside, the park is divided into five themed zones. The ticket gives access to almost all rides and shows with no extra charge (only a few services cost more). Here’s a look at each zone in turn.

  • 3-day unlimited pass: 1,600,000 / 1,200,000 VND.

A few things to note. First, the senior discount requires ID — bring a passport to show at the entrance. Second, VinClub members get up to 5% off when booking online. Third, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so it’s best to pick your date around the weather. Finally, the park updates its prices from time to time, so it’s worth checking the official site before you go — the current rates are always there.

You can buy tickets online on the park’s site or through Tisland Travel — including bundled with the cable car, with a buffet lunch, or as a 2- or 3-day unlimited pass:

The park’s zones: what’s inside

Sea World and the new aquarium

The big 2026 reveal is the «Sea Lord’s Palace» — 4,000 m², a 100-meter tunnel with 360° viewing and the only seal pool in the VinWonders network.

Sea World is a large aquarium with marine life, fish feeding and a mermaid show. The headline update for 2026 is here: the park opened a new aquarium, the «Kingdom of the Sea God,» covering nearly 4,000 m². Inside are five themed areas, a glass tunnel roughly 100 metres long with a 360-degree view, and the only seal pool in the entire VinWonders network. It’s a particular favourite with children.

Water World

Vietnam’s first and only freshwater aquapark right by the sea. In 2026 it added Tornado Adventure — a giant funnel slide for groups of 2-4, the first of its kind in Vietnam.

Water World is the first and so far only freshwater water park by the sea in Vietnam. There are calm pools for families as well as steep slides for the brave. The big 2026 addition is the Tornado Adventure slide: a giant funnel for groups of 2–4, the first of its kind in Vietnam. Don’t forget swimwear and flip-flops — you won’t be allowed in without them.

Festive Hill, the thrill-ride zone

Festive Hill is the zone for adrenaline lovers. In early 2026, six new rides opened here, among them Cosmic Loop, Sky Swing and Sky Chaser. There are roller coasters, drop towers and extreme spinning rides. That said, individual rides are occasionally closed for maintenance, so it’s best to check the current list on site or online.

The fairy-tale zone and the Tata Show

The Tata Show evening multimedia show at VinWonders Nha Trang — fountains, lasers and projections against the fairytale castle
The park’s headline evening show — Tata Show — combines water, lasers and projections onto the fairytale castle. The schedule shifts by season, check the program in advance.

The fairy-tale zone is built for families: a zipline, an Alpine Coaster and gentler rides for younger children. In the evening, this is also where the park’s flagship multimedia show, the Tata Show, takes place, with water, light and special effects. The show schedule changes by season, so check the listings in advance so you don’t miss it.

World Garden

World Garden is the quietest part of the park. It gathers plants from five continents, shaped flower beds and shaded paths. It’s a pleasant place to rest between rides and take a few photos.

How to get to VinWonders Nha Trang

The main route in is the cable car. Its station stands on the seafront about 4–5 km from the city centre, and it’s easy to spot thanks to its Eiffel-style towers. You can reach the station in several ways:

  • By VinBus. The free electric bus runs along the Trần Phú promenade daily from roughly 07:20 to 23:15.
  • By taxi or via Grab/Maxim. Just set the pin to «VinWonders Nha Trang Terminal» — drivers know the spot.
  • On foot, if you’re staying at the southern end of the promenade near the station.

If the cable car is temporarily out of service because of weather or maintenance, the park provides a free speedboat. The cable car itself, again, is already included in the standard ticket — there’s no need to pay for it separately.

It’s also worth checking the weather in Nha Trang by month beforehand: in the rainy season, the cable car is sometimes paused in strong wind.

When to go and how long to allow

VinWonders is a full day, not a couple of hours. To fit in the water park, the rides and the evening show, arrive at the 08:30 opening. Mornings mean shorter queues and less heat.

The best time of year is the dry season from February to August, when the sea is calm and the sky is clear (here’s what June looks like, for example). From September to December, Nha Trang sees downpours, but that’s no reason to skip the trip: most rides and the aquarium are indoors. Just keep an eye on the forecast and have a plan.

Useful tips before you visit

A few things that will save you time and hassle:

  • Bring swimwear, a towel and flip-flops — otherwise the water park is off the table.
  • Carry some cash in đồng for food and souvenirs, though cards are accepted inside too.
  • Children under 140 cm and under 14 must be accompanied by an adult — it’s a park rule.
  • Lockers are available near the entrance, so you don’t have to carry everything around.
  • Outside food and drink aren’t allowed (except food for children or special diets).
  • Buy your ticket online in advance — it’s cheaper and saves queuing at the box office.

What else to do in Nha Trang

A theme park is great, but Nha Trang is more than Hòn Tre Island. After VinWonders, it’s worth heading to the beaches of Nha Trang, and on a free day, out to sea or into the hills. For the full list of tours and routes across the country, see the Vietnam catalogue.
