I visited the Similan Islands again with the Treasure Island company. Our guide today was Andrey, a true professional. Everything was organized at the highest level – clearly, competently, and to the point. Before heading to the islands, he held a briefing and explained in detail all the stops along the route. On Island N4, he even led us on a short walking tour to meet the "locals" – monitor lizards and flying foxes. The Similans themselves are, as always, magnificent; I've been here four times already and can't get enough of them. Departing early for the tour was a huge advantage – our group was the first to set foot on the pristine sandy beach of Island N8, home to the famous Sail Rock. The view from above of the pristine, deserted, white beach, illuminated by the rising sun, is an unforgettable sight. I'd also like to highlight the excellent teamwork of the Thai team, and especially our guide, Tatyana (that's how she introduced herself to us 😄). Tanya is an excellent photographer and was very helpful with my photos against the backdrop of the fabulously beautiful landscapes of Island 8. Next, we went snorkeling and encountered a local resident – a huge sea turtle. We swam around the boat for about 30 minutes, waiting to see this marine visitor. Just as we were about to head to the next snorkeling stop, the turtle finally arrived. Gracefully flapping its enormous flippers, it made a couple of turns around the boat, and then just as unexpectedly disappeared, disappearing into the water from the dozens of curious tourists. The next snorkeling spot was just a 7-minute ride away. Here, I was once again impressed by the rich underwater world of the Similan Islands. I saw a rhinoceros fish for the first time, admired a clownfish living under the protection of an anemone, and even swam with a huge school of pale blue fish. I was so excited I stopped moving my arms and legs; the current simply carried me forward. The fish swam closer and closer to me, curiously examining my mask and completely unafraid. At one point, I felt like part of a huge school of fish – to the right, to the left, in front and behind – the fish swam around me, actively flapping their fins. It's incredible, but with each visit to the Similans, I discover something new. The final stop on our adventure today was Island N4. Here, we were treated to a Thai-style lunch and given about two hours of free time to relax. This island has two accessible beaches: one is docked by a boat, and the other is a five-minute walk through the island's tropical jungle along a well-maintained trail. If you're lucky, you'll encounter a local resident – a monitor lizard – along the way. The second (secret) beach is a beautiful and romantic spot. It features white sand, the azure Andaman Sea, and green trees leaning right down to the water. And even here there is the opportunity for snorkeling... But I'll tell you about that next time, when I decide to visit the Similans again, and definitely only with the Treasure Island company!

The Similans at sunrise: a fairy tale worth waking up at 2 a.m. for! I want to share our delightful trip to the Similans with Treasure Island! It was one of the most magical trips we've ever had. We booked an early departure with great anticipation and haven't regretted it one bit! Yes, we had to get up at 2 a.m. and leave at 2:20 a.m., but it was worth it! To make the journey easier, we were given motion sickness pills before boarding the boat (it was important to me that they were individually wrapped—you can tell they cared about sterility). I practically slept through both the drive and the boat ride—it was incredibly comfortable. Special thanks to our guide, Victoria! She explained everything clearly, and we stayed on schedule perfectly. While everyone was getting ready, a light and delicious breakfast (sandwiches, vegetables, fruit, tea/coffee) awaited us. And then the magic began—we watched the sunrise on the boat! It was incredibly beautiful, even though almost everyone was asleep :) We sailed for about an hour and 20 minutes. And... we were the FIRST on the island! It exceeded all expectations. Just us, silence, a pinkish sky, and unrealistically white sand. The Similan Islands are a whole other world. The guide shared some interesting facts about the islands' formation—it was very educational. Next, we went snorkeling. We didn't see any turtles, but the corals and fish were simply stunning! Then there was another snorkeling spot, and then we moved to another island. A delicious lunch awaited us there (shrimp, squid, noodles, fruit). We spent about 2.5 hours on this island: rocks, swings over the water, a heavenly beach—absolutely delightful! What I recommend to future travelers: 1. Choose an early departure! It's hard, but it's 100% worth it. You'll see the islands deserted and truly magical. 2. Pack beautiful outfits: dresses, swimsuits, hats, and chokers. The photos turn out fabulous! At the end of the trip (upon arrival), we had dinner (hot dishes, salads, appetizers, and ice cream), which I personally found to be very filling. A special thank you to the Treasure Island team! The organization was top-notch: everything was smooth and on time, and any issues were resolved immediately. The group was small, so we felt especially cared for and coordinated. If you want to see the Similans without the crowds, in comfort and with your soul, this is the perfect option. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

December 22, 2025 Similan Islands, guide Victoria. This is when your vacation/excursion is perfect 😘😍👍. I'm skipping a review of the islands themselves, the turquoise and warm water, and the white sand, because it will be much more beautiful😍 than you saw in the pictures. This was our third excursion with Treasure Island during our visit to Thailand. To our great joy, Vika was our guide again 🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍. We also went to Phi Phi with her 👍. Energetic, cheerful, loud, sociable, kind, and charming, this beauty told us all the most interesting things about Thailand itself and the places we visited throughout the trip, answered all our questions, which even added a friendly note to the stories 👍. She's a great organizer, and I think she could make any group of people into a fun group. This time we had a girl with us, and she and I became friends during the trip 👍😀. A wonderful guide 🤗🤗🤗, and it was so sad to say goodbye 🙁 The Thai speedboat crew was great 👍👍👍. Different languages didn't hinder the conversation. They'll serve you, hold you, help you get on and off, give you water... soda... fruit... candy... Everything for us, not a single sideways or sad look, everyone with a positive attitude and a smile 👍. Would you like to go snorkeling and see turtles or fish? But are you afraid to go out on the water? Even that wasn't a problem. A sea taxi is available for you 😀👍 - accompanied by a Thai, on a special platform, wearing a snorkeling mask, and a life jacket if you wish, you'll see all the underwater life 👍👍👍. A huge sea turtle swam by today, and there were all kinds of fish 👍👍👍. If you're going on a solo trip, photography is no problem at all - they'll take pictures and tell you where to put your hands and feet so you can admire the gorgeous photos later 👍👍👍 - comfort and care from all sides. In short, if you've decided to visit the Similans and enjoy all the beauty and magic of this place, I highly recommend Treasure Island, and you'll be incredibly lucky if Vika goes with you 🤗🤗🤗. This year, we went on another excursion to the Similan Islands with Treasure Island. Last year's experience was so vivid that we simply couldn't resist doing it again! Everything went perfectly—the company completely lived up to our expectations. We were especially pleased that we arrived on the island among the first, before the influx of tourists hit the island: this allowed us to fully appreciate the solitude and natural beauty. The program exceeded all our expectations: unforgettable moments swimming alongside giant turtles—it was truly magical; thoughtful meals: a light breakfast, a hearty and delicious lunch, and a light dinner—the portions were ample, and the dishes were fresh and appetizing; and plenty of free time for swimming, snorkeling, and strolls along the white sand. A special thanks to our guide, Yuri! We were incredibly lucky to have him: not only did he organize the entire itinerary perfectly, but he also created a wonderful atmosphere—you'll definitely never get bored with him. Yuri shared interesting facts about the local flora and fauna, helped us find the best photo spots, and was always ready to help. Hello! I'd like to leave a review of the Similan Islands 7 excursion. First, I'd like to commend our wonderful guide, Adam. His super positive attitude gave us a boost of energy even when we woke up early, his stories and facts were engaging, he answered all our questions, didn't rush anyone, and was very engaged. Second, thank you for the early departure – we were truly the first ones on island #8, which allowed us to enjoy the nature and take amazing photos. Third, we were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of drinking water and cans of soda on the speedboat. The included breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious, filling, and varied. Not just a snack, but an abundance of side dishes, meat, and fruit. Fourth, when we returned to the hotel, we immediately decided to book another excursion with the same operator because it turned out to be a cut above the quality of the one from the hotel guide. Fifth, the small group size prevents lines and crowds. It's as if the people taking these tours have spent time researching and choosing the program, making the atmosphere more comfortable and enjoyable. We're very grateful for this program, and we'd like to thank Treasure Island for organizing it, and especially our huge thanks to our guide, Adam!

We didn't regret waking up at 3 a.m. for a second. The views and the near-total absence of people were worth it. We were picked up from our hotel in a comfortable minivan and greeted with a buffet breakfast. Afterward, we met our guide, Andrey. A true professional, he told us about the islands, helped us with snorkeling, and had a great time with us at the locations. We were indeed the first to arrive at the first island. For half an hour, we were alone, enjoying incredible views: azure water, white sand, verdant jungle, and huge volcanic rocks. On the boat ride between locations, we were treated to refreshments, fruit, and cookies. Next came snorkeling stops. Wow! A rich underwater world: corals, a variety of fish, and, most anticipated of all, turtles!! Big, beautiful turtles. Lunch (buffet) awaited us at the next island. We swam, sunbathed on beaches that looked like they'd been straight out of a Bounty ad, and saw monitor lizards. A buffet dinner was already waiting for us at the port. After a quick bite, we happily headed to our hotels. We still had the whole evening to relax. A huge thank you to the entire Treasure Island team for your hard work! It was a true delight. As promised, we were the first on the island and were alone for almost an hour. The sea was just like in the pictures, crystal clear. The Thai assistants took photos of everyone who wanted one. It was very important to be alone (no selfie stick needed). There was water, cold Pepsi, and fruit on board the boat. We were fed three times. Snorkeling 👍. A large turtle swam up to us 😃. There were restrooms and showers everywhere. Everything that was promised was done, and the emotions were indescribable. First, you'll be picked up from your hotel and brought to the pier (about 1-1.5 hours by bus), then by boat to the islands. Total time from hotel to islands is about 3-3.5 hours including transfer. Return journey is similar. The boats are modern and comfortable, with comfortable seating and sun protection, making the trip enjoyable.

Yes, visiting the Similan Islands with children is quite possible and safe! It's recommended to bring children from 4 years old, as younger ones may find the long boat ride difficult. Special children's life jackets in appropriate sizes are provided for all children without exception. The islands have gentle beaches where children can swim safely.
