A group day trip from Nha Trang to Phu Yen Province by minivan, up to 20 guests. Phu Yen is one of the least touristy coastal provinces in central Vietnam — dramatic volcanic landscapes, a 100-year-old Gothic cathedral, an active sea temple and a clean beach with minimal crowds. The route covers six distinct stops in one day.
Program:
Basalt Pillars: hexagonal stone columns formed by an ancient volcano — a rare natural phenomenon on the Vietnamese coast.
First Electric Lighthouse: a historic landmark with panoramic coastal views.
Sea Goddess Temple: an active place of worship where local fishermen pray for protection and safe passage.
Catholic Cathedral: Gothic-style church built over 100 years ago, housing one of the first books printed in Vietnamese.
Lunch (included).
Bai Mon Beach: light sand, clear water and few tourists.
Tuy Hoa City Monument: a modern civic landmark inspired by the sea, basalt columns and the culture of the region.

The price includes round-trip transfer from your Nha Trang hotel, a Russian-speaking guide, lunch as per the programme, entrance tickets to all sites (basalt pillars, lighthouse, Sea Goddess Temple, Catholic Cathedral, Bai Mon Beach, Tuy Hoa monument) and medical insurance. The only extra charge is a transfer from the Cam Ranh area.
Only the transfer from the Cam Ranh area is charged separately — 30 USD per vehicle if your hotel is located there. We also recommend bringing cash for personal expenses (drinks, souvenirs) and optional tips for the guide or driver. All main programme costs are already included.
The tour starts with a pickup from your Nha Trang hotel — the driver arrives by minivan at the agreed time. If you stay in the Cam Ranh area, the transfer to the meeting point costs 30 USD per car and is paid separately. The exact departure time is sent in your booking confirmation.
The tour lasts about 12 hours from hotel pickup to return. A significant part of the day is spent on the road, as Phu Yen is the province north of Khanh Hoa and the route combines several natural and historic sites. Plan a full day for this tour and don't schedule anything else.
Groups are 10 to 20 people, a comfortable size for guide attention and photo stops at each site. The group travels in minivans. The minimum departure size is 10 people, so the tour may be rescheduled to another available date if the group doesn't fill up.
The tour is conducted in Russian — a Russian-speaking guide accompanies the group throughout the day and explains each site in the programme. If you need a guide in another language, please ask about availability at the time of booking. All on-site explanations and briefings are in Russian.
Yes, the tour is family-friendly. The child ticket is for kids 100–140 cm tall, and children under 100 cm join for free. Keep in mind the drive takes several hours each way and it's a long day — bring water, snacks and favourite toys to keep your child comfortable on the road.
Yes, the programme lunch is included — the guide takes the group to a tested spot serving local Vietnamese cuisine. Breakfast and dinner are not part of the programme, so arrange breakfast at your hotel before the early departure. It's convenient to bring water and drinks for the road.
Bring a swimsuit and towel for Bai Mon Beach, water and drinks for the road, sun protection (SPF 50+ cream, sunglasses, a hat, a long-sleeved cotton shirt or pareo) and comfortable shoes — flip-flops, sandals or Crocs. Also pack your phone or camera (waterproof covers are available on request) and cash for personal expenses and tips. Comfortable shoes are essential, as the route includes walking on the basalt pillars and around the temple and cathedral grounds.
The programme includes the Sea Goddess Temple and the Catholic Cathedral, so modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is recommended for these visits. The pareo or long-sleeved shirt you bring for sun protection works well. The guide will explain specific rules (removing shoes, keeping quiet) before entering each site.
The programme can be reordered flexibly — items may be visited in different sequences depending on weather and conditions. If it rains, the guide adapts the route, for example by spending more time at the cathedral and temple and saving Bai Mon Beach for a better moment. If the tour has to be cancelled entirely due to weather, we offer a reschedule or refund.
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are confirmed at the time of booking — the manager will explain the free-cancellation window and reschedule options for another available date. If we cancel the tour ourselves (due to bad weather or fewer than the 10-person minimum), we offer a reschedule or a refund. Contact your manager in advance if your plans change.
