The price includes round-trip hotel transfer by minivan, a Russian-speaking guide, dinner on board (BBQ from the grill with soft drinks), and all the rods and fishing tackle you'll need.
A surcharge applies for transfers if your hotel is in a remote area of Nha Trang outside the standard minivan pickup zone — please confirm the exact amount with your manager when booking. Alcoholic drinks, personal expenses, tips for the crew, and waterproof cases for your phone or camera are also not included.
The group is picked up from your hotel by minivan (capacity up to 8) at around 17:00. Your manager will confirm the exact time and pickup point after booking, based on your hotel address. A surcharge for a private transfer may apply if your hotel is in a remote area of Nha Trang.
The tour lasts about 9 hours: pickup from your hotel at 17:00 and return between 01:00 and 02:00 at night. Please plan the next day with this late schedule in mind — most guests need to rest until morning after returning.
This is a group tour with up to 12 guests on board. The minimum for departure is 1 guest, so the trip runs regardless of how many others book. The compact format gives everyone a comfortable spot at the rail during fishing.
The tour is led by a Russian-speaking guide — all squid fishing instructions, route commentary, and on-board communication are in Russian. The guide's services are included in the price.
Yes, the night squid fishing trip is suitable for families. Children aged 3 to 5 join free of charge, ages 6–12 pay a child rate, and guests aged 13 and over pay the adult rate. Keep in mind the return to your hotel is late at night (01:00–02:00), which is a long evening for younger children.
Dinner is served on the boat in the open air: BBQ from the grill with soft drinks. Meals are included in the tour price. If you have any allergies or special dietary preferences, please let your manager know when booking so the crew can prepare accordingly.
Bring water and your preferred soft drinks, sun protection (SPF 50+ cream, sunglasses, a hat) for daylight hours, and a light jumper or windbreaker — it gets cooler on the water at night than in the city. Closed shoes such as Crocs or sandals are practical, and a phone or camera with a waterproof case plus some cash for personal expenses and tips are useful.
The captain decides whether to go out based on actual conditions — wind, sea swell and visibility. If the trip is cancelled due to weather, your manager will contact you in advance to either reschedule for the nearest available date or refund the payment. Light rain alone is usually not a reason to cancel.
The boat anchors at the fishing spot, so the strongest motion is usually during the trip out and back, not during the fishing itself. If you know you get seasick easily, take a motion-sickness tablet 30–40 minutes before departure and try to focus on the horizon during transit. Let your guide know — the crew will help you find a spot on the open deck.
The crew typically cooks part of the catch right on board so you can try freshly caught squid alongside the live guitar music. Check with your guide on the day about taking any squid back to your hotel — it depends on the size of the catch and storage conditions. If the squid isn't biting that night, the BBQ dinner still goes ahead as planned.
