We went with guide Ilya on the "Glow of the Andaman" tour with Treasure Island. Everything went according to plan from the start. We weren't rushed at all, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the locations. Ilya gave us a fascinating overview of Thailand and answered all our questions. He always offered to help with photography and suggested good locations. At the White Temple, a monk tied strings for those who wanted them; the temple itself is very beautiful. The next stop was the "Glass Bridge" overlooking Phang Nga Bay; words cannot describe how beautiful it is. Importantly, we were alone on the bridge, so no one interfered with our photo opportunities. Then we boarded a sharp-nosed boat and set off on a breezy sea voyage. The boat was comfortable, and we didn't experience any seasickness. Our first stop was James Bond Island, a very beautiful and famous place that makes for fantastic photos. Our next stop was a sea gypsy village, where we learned about their way of life. There we could also buy high-quality pearl jewelry. Lunch was a small buffet. The selection was simple but delicious. Next, we went exploring the sea caves and their bat inhabitants. We watched the sunset on a large floating raft, where we were offered a small snack with fruit. And then, when it got dark, we set off on small boats to see that aurora of glowing plankton. It's a sight hard to describe—it looked like a multitude of sparks on the water. You have to see it! The tour was absolutely comfortable, educational, interesting, and unusual!
