Hello! I'd like to tell you about the excursion. We live in Patong, and the shuttle picked us up last and took us to the luxurious RPM pier, where we gathered for breakfast in a pleasant, clean, spacious room. We were met by a charming and attentive guide, Victoria. There were about 20 tourists on the boat, a guide, and a three-person crew. We quickly reached Maya Bay on a speedboat, traveling at about 60 km/h. It's the legendary white-sand beach from the movie "The Beach." Swimming and even entering the water are prohibited there, and the lifeguards (rangers) kept shouting over a loudspeaker, which slightly spoiled the atmosphere. This place is mainly for those interested in the filming location and photo shoots. Some of the girls were dressed in costume, which is convenient since it's the first stop, but even though we were on an early excursion, there were quite a lot of tourists. Next, we went to the deepest bay in Thailand with wonderful blue water, where we swam from the boat. By the way, the boat has very convenient steps for getting on and off—it's a small thing, but important. We then headed to a snorkeling spot, but strong waves prevented us from doing so, so the crew took us to another spot where we thoroughly enjoyed swimming with the fish; it felt like we were in an aquarium. 😄 We also made a stop to see some rock monkeys. Our next stop was the beautiful island of Phi Phi Don, where we enjoyed a delicious, full lunch and, by the way, fast, free Wi-Fi. Our last stop was an island for about an hour of swimming from the shore; some swam, others relaxed in the shade. There were unlimited drinks on the boat—water, cola, and Fanta—and on the way back, we were treated to watermelon and pineapple. Overall, the program was rich, beautiful, and interesting; the time flew by. Thanks to Victoria and the crew, you could feel their care the whole time.
