Review of "Сияние Андамана - сияющий планктон, каноэ на закате и панорамы Пханг Нга" Excursion

1. The transfer there is ok, but long. You need to get ready for a 1.5 hour drive. 2. The White Temple. It's beautiful, largely because it's brand new. There's no sense of prayer or any touch of history there. Instagrammers can take pictures in Thai outfits and hairstyles. 3. The Glass Bridge - beautiful views, beautiful photos. For an extra fee, you can have a cocktail in the restaurant. 4. The longtail is generally comfortable. Water splashes on the bow, but if you don't want that, you can hide inside. You can turn on music. 5. Stops - James Bond Island, Diamond Caves - beautiful places for photos. There were some other names of caves in the description, but I never realized whether we were there. 6. The Sea Gypsy Village - so-so. I mistakenly thought they were talking about a fishing village (we went to one in Vietnam, the experience was amazing). This is just a big village with a market on pontoons. I didn't see a single fish anywhere, including at lunch 7. The lunch buffet was very mediocre. The only seafood was shrimp the size of two fingertips. Obviously, that was the only thing included in the tour's budget, but why not offer an à la carte lunch option? My suggestion for Treasure Island 8. Oh, by the way, the Sea Gypsies are Muslim and don't drink any alcohol. The same goes for the first stop at the temple. If you want to drink beer during the tour, you must bring your own or buy it at the restaurant by the glass bridge. I also suggest Treasure Island warn you about this. Canoe and plankton. You're taken into a cave, and there, glowing plankton actually appears along the walls when it comes into contact with the water. If you stir the water with your hand, it creates a glowing effect. It's not visible in photos or videos. Overall, it's pretty cool. 10. But the eyes of the canoeists glow even more brightly, expecting tips (you can't go yourself, it's too dark). Yes, they're not rich, but their insistent demand for tips (like the Egyptian Bedouins who let you ride a camel for free but charge for taking it off) was, to put it mildly, irritating. Let me remind you that the excursion costs 3,300 baht per person. It's not a yacht, but a longtail boat, and the lunch isn't a proper buffet, with drinks you pay for (if you even want a cola), so it seems as if the company itself could have left a tip. But after receiving repeated recommendations to leave a tip (not small change, not 20s, but 50 and 100 baht—prepare it in advance), we were ready to pay, but without a million reminders!!! 11. Also inappropriate was the boatmen's search for Russian synonyms in front of my nine-year-old son and 60-year-old mother, in order to compare a rock they encountered along the way to a male reproductive organ. 12. The guide, Vladislav, was generally good. He was attentive and provided ample information. I don't usually write reviews, but he asked, so I tried to give the tour an objective rating. 13. Overall, the tour gets a B-.
