The price includes round-trip transfer from your Nha Trang hotel, a Russian-speaking guide, lunch at a local restaurant in Da Lat, entrance tickets to all sites on the programme (Linh Phuoc Pagoda and the Golden Buddha Temple, Crazy House, Luwak Coffee Farm with the mini-zoo, Datanla Waterfall) and medical insurance. A tasting of artichoke tea, ginseng and dried fruit at the pagoda is also included.
A transfer from the Cam Ranh area costs 30 USD per vehicle if your hotel is located there. The optional alpine coaster ride at Datanla Waterfall is paid on the spot. We also recommend bringing cash for personal expenses, souvenirs and a tip for the guide.
The minivan picks up the group from your hotel in Nha Trang at around 04:30 — the early start is because the drive to Da Lat takes several hours along a mountain pass. The exact time and meeting point are confirmed the day before, after your booking is confirmed. If you stay in the Cam Ranh area, a separate transfer is arranged for 30 USD per vehicle.
The tour takes about 13–14 hours in total: departure from Nha Trang at 04:30 and return around 18:00. The drive along the mountain pass takes roughly 4 hours each way, with the rest of the day spent on the Da Lat programme stops and lunch.
This is a group tour with up to 20 participants. Travel during the programme is by 8-seat minivans — multiple minivans are used for larger groups so everyone has a comfortable seat. The group composition changes from one departure to the next.
The tour is led by a professional Russian-speaking guide from Travel Island. All commentary about the programme stops, logistics and Q&A are in Russian.
Yes, the tour is family-friendly — kids especially enjoy the mini-zoo at the coffee farm (elephants, monkeys, ostriches and more). Children up to 100 cm tall travel free, and children 100–140 cm pay the child rate. Note that the 04:30 departure and roughly 13-hour duration is demanding for small children, and part of the route runs along a mountain pass.
Yes, when visiting Linh Phuoc Pagoda and the Golden Buddha Temple your shoulders and knees must be covered — this is a temple requirement. Bring a long-sleeved cotton shirt, a sarong or light trousers/skirt to change into before entering. Wear closed, comfortable walking shoes.
Da Lat sits in the mountains at around 1500 m, so it's noticeably cooler than the Nha Trang coast — especially early in the morning and in the evening. Pack a warm sweater or windbreaker even if Nha Trang is hot. Fog and brief showers on the mountain pass during the drive are also possible.
Bring a packed breakfast (departure is at 04:30 — there's no time for breakfast at the hotel), water and drinks, sun protection (SPF 50+ cream, sunglasses, hat), modest clothing for the temple, a warm layer for Da Lat, comfortable closed shoes, a phone or camera, cash for personal expenses and tips. Also bring a photocopy of your passport — the main page and the page with the Vietnam visa or entry stamp.
The route from Nha Trang to Da Lat winds along a mountain pass for about 4 hours each way, so passengers prone to motion sickness may feel uncomfortable. We recommend taking motion sickness medicine in advance, mentioning it to the guide when booking and asking for a seat at the front of the minivan. Bring water and a light snack to help on the way.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Da Lat is included in the price. Breakfast is not — bring your own in a lunch box, and there's a breakfast stop on the way. The programme also includes a tasting of artichoke tea, ginseng and dried fruit at the pagoda. Drinks throughout the day and extra snacks are paid separately.
