Important to known

  • The islands are open to visitors from October 15 to May 15.
  • Children's ticket for ages 4-11 inclusive. Free for children up to 3 years old (no separate seat in the minivan).
  • The tour program may change depending on weather conditions, tides, and ebbs.
  • Pregnant women, children under 1 year old, and people with back and neck problems are not allowed on the excursion.
  • Smoking and drinking alcohol are prohibited on the islands (fine 5 000-20 000 baht).

The tour was fantastic, and our guide, Yuri, was the best! He was a blast! We were literally the first to arrive on the island; everyone else only started arriving an hour later. We were fed three times, and we went diving twice in different spots. Even the pouring rain didn't dampen our spirits or our impression of the islands' beauty.

I went on the "Similan Islands 7" tour in October 2025 with Yuri Krivov as my guide. Everything was perfectly organized, the transfer picked me up from my place of residence, and a wonderful adventure began. 😍 Yuri is a wonderful specialist; he'll tell you everything, show you everything, and it'll definitely be fun. If you want to go to the Similan Islands, the best option would be to go there with Yuri from Treasure Island. 🫶🏻 For some reason, ever since I was a kid, I've always associated excursions with boredom, but this is absolutely not the case. I went on a friend's recommendation, and now I will definitely recommend it to everyone, and I'll be back myself!

Definitely worth a try. They opened the 2025 season, and it was awesome to feel like pioneers. Turtles, fish, shells, turquoise water, and a cheerful guide, Yuri, were the perfect combination for us! Thanks to the company! The photo only shows our speedboat, and NO-ONE else.

The trip to the Similans was simply incredible and amazing!!! I first visited the Similans back in 2018 with Treasure Island. This time I went with friends—I thought the second experience wouldn't be as vivid, but I was wrong. The second time was just as impressive. A deserted beach, the stunningly beautiful Sail Rock, crystal-clear water—I've never seen anything like it anywhere—and the best snorkeling! And all this without the crowds, as promised. Hello! We took this excursion in February 2025, but the memories and emotions are still with us! The views were simply stunning! The color of the water was unforgettable! And the guides and crew are still in our hearts! They helped take photos and entertained the kids on the boat. The early rise was completely worth it. Anyone hesitant to get up early is wrong! Don't even think twice, it's worth it!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was just as promised when we booked the excursions – we arrived first, saw turtles, had three delicious meals, and everything was on time. We were there in February and really enjoyed it. We were the first to arrive and swam with the turtles. And the snorkeling there was, mmmmmm, amazing.

We went to the Similans with the whole family. The stunning views, clear turquoise water, and coral sand were unforgettable. We were hesitant about going because we had a one-year-old with us, but despite the early departure, we took the risk and didn't regret it. The baby slept in the boat and easily endured the journey. For comfortable planning, it's recommended to book a tour to the Similan Islands at least 3 days before your desired trip date. This is the minimum time for a guaranteed spot. However, during peak season (December-February), especially during holidays (New Year, Chinese New Year), spots fill up very quickly, and it's better to book 1-2 weeks in advance. The number of tourists in the national park is limited daily to protect the ecosystem, so when the quota is full, new bookings are not accepted. Early booking also allows you to choose a convenient date and get better transfer from your hotel.
January, February, and March are absolutely the best months to visit the Similan Islands with ideal weather conditions. Average air temperature stays stable around +30-32°C during the day, the sea warms up to a comfortable +27-28°C. The sky is predominantly clear and sunny, rain is virtually excluded (probability less than 5%). The sea is calm with minimal waves, making swimming and snorkeling maximally comfortable. Underwater visibility reaches 30-40 meters - ideal for observing marine life. Humidity is moderate, around 70-75%. This is peak tourist season, so book in advance.

No, there is no Wi-Fi on the Similan Islands and no internet or mobile connection at all. The islands are located 70 kilometers from the mainland in the open sea, where there is no mobile operator coverage. No, it's impossible to pay by bank card on the Similan Islands. The islands are a protected national park without developed tourist infrastructure, electricity, or internet. Therefore, card payment terminals are not available. If you want to buy souvenirs at the small shop on the islands or leave tips for the crew and guide, bring cash Thai baht with you. Usually 500-1000 baht is sufficient. All main services (transfer, meals, equipment) are already included in the tour price that you pay when booking.
Yes, visiting the Similan Islands with children is quite possible and safe! It's recommended to bring children from 4 years old, as younger ones may find the long boat ride difficult. Special children's life jackets in appropriate sizes are provided for all children without exception. The islands have gentle beaches where children can swim safely. Snorkeling with children is conducted in shallow water under constant supervision of instructors. Many families with children have a wonderful time observing colorful fish in the crystal-clear water.

Choose Phi Phi if you want famous photogenic beaches (like Maya Bay), more opportunities for beach relaxation, cafes, and entertainment.
